What is the difference between CBD oil and CBD tincture?
A CBD tincture usually refers to a CBD solution that uses alcohol to extract the cannabinoids. Given that we use a CO2 extraction process, we are technically considered a CBD oil. -
Where is your CBD sourced from?
Sourcing is important when it comes to CBD products. At Penguin CBD, all of our hemp comes from farms in Oregon. We chose this state because of the quality of the soil, as well as their high regulation standards for cultivation and testing. -
What is a carrier oil?
A carrier oil refers to the oil that the CBD gets mixed with. For our products, we use a coconut-based MCT oil. We choose it because it has a high solubility rate for maximum absorption. Additionally, it has very little noticeable taste aside from the flavoring we add. -
What makes broad-spectrum better than CBD isolate?
CBD isolate contains only the CBD and nothing else. Meanwhile, broad-spectrum extracts have all of the additional cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC, etc.), as well as other beneficial terpenes and other compounds. Together they work together to create an “entourage effect” and make the CBD more effective. -
Can I use CBD oil on my skin?
CBD oil is not meant for topical application. It is supposed to be held under the tongue for 60-90 seconds before being ingested. If you're looking for a skincare product, you might want to check out our CBD cream instead. -
How long will it take to get my CBD oil?
It typically takes 2-5 business days for orders to be delivered. All of our orders get processed the same day if placed before 12pm EST.
